Around October of last year, we started to develop roof leaks in our townhouse. Of the 5 contractors we called, we chose R. M. Banning Co., Inc. (Banning Roofing) for a number of reasons: 1.) The owner, Rich Banning, was the most responsive (to include immediately following up on emails or phone calls when we had questions about anything); 2.) Explaining everything that would go into the job before it was started; 3.) Coordinating seamlessly with the tenants who were there at the time; and 4.) Coming in with a quote that was between 15% and 25% below everyone else while using the same or better materials.

The job was scheduled and completed on time with no hang ups whatsoever. Rich forwarded photos of the roof as did the tenant so we were able to see everything. The workman who interacted with our tenants were professional and courteous and the clean up was impeccable. The tenant, who is a great tenant and works to keep everything neat, was very pleased with the neatness and lack of interruption, despite the major job.

As a military member, I am naturally cautious in what I do. This is particularly true when it comes to laying out a decent chunk of change when the job requires it. While no one likes to have to spend this kind of money, if you do, you want to walk away from the job feeling it was a good investment. In this case, it was money well spent and Rich genuinely exceeded our expectations. I recommend him and Banning Roofing without reservation.
